Safe Care Provider
Salary : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Location: Hemet, CA
Job Description: California Family Life Center is seeking an in-home provider to deliver the SafeCare parenting training program to families in Riverside County. Bilingual is a plus. Ability to pass background checks including DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse, and drug screen. Must be 21 or older, have a valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
This position is responsible for providing the in-home parenting training program, targeting risk factors for child neglect and physical abuse. The provider will teach skills in three module areas; positive interaction with children, recognition of hazards in the home, and how to recognize and respond to symptoms of illness and injury. The Provider will be support quality assurance and evaluation requirements and ensure the delivery of trauma informed care to families.
Qualifications:
BA Degree in Behavioral Science field Ability and experience with Case Management Ability and experience working with children, ages 0-5 and their caregivers Must possess a valid California Driver License and be insurable Able to pass a criminal history background check
General Responsibilities:
1. Working within a varied schedule, the Provider will carry a caseload and deliver in person services to families while ensuring culturally sensitive, trauma informed care
2. Attend training and maintain all necessary certifications
3. Make contact with client families as referred to the program
4. Make routine personal visits with client families and plan and implement service plans
5. Maintain up to date records on program participants and activities according to program requirements
6. Have knowledgeable of community resources to support families
Organize and keep client files including case and progress notes

YouthBuild Job Developer
Salary : $20.00 per hour
Location: Hemet, CA
Job Description:
We are in search of a dedicated full-time Job Developer to manage the development and implementation of career building opportunities for YouthBuild participants, ages 18-24. The Job Developer will coordinate services for clients including assessing skills, interests, and abilities; identifying job opportunities; assisting in creating resumes, and preparing participants for interviews. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with employers to connect trainees with viable job opportunities, have experience with high risk populations, and an understanding and knowledge of vocational counseling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Experience in related field may be substituted on a year for year basis) Understanding of the apprenticeship system in the construction and logistics trades. Experience in job placement or workforce development. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
General Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and conduct job search skills workshops including resume' preparation and other skills.
Develop and maintain partnerships in the public and private sectors that will provide career opportunities that are aligned with YouthBuild students interest and goals.
Community networking to promote awareness and enhance the reputation of the YouthBuild program.
Ensure trainees are prepared for job interviews and conduct follow-up assessments.
Work closely with employers to maximize retention and success.
