Strengthening Families
Can my family attend? What are the qualifications?
This program is designed to serve families with children ages 6-11. Free child care is available for families with other children outside these age groups.
How often and when would we meet?
The program meets every week for 14 weeks in the evenings. CFLC will train groups of families at a time, so starting times will vary through the year.
Days of the week and times may vary per cohort but times will typically be 4-6:30pm or 5-7:30pm. Go to the interest form above to see current offerings. Each session is 2.5 hrs.
Where would we meet?
The Strengthening Families Program trainings will be held at CFLC's Empower Youth Building at 930 N State St., Hemet, CA 92543.

What do the 14 evenings include?
Outside Support
Program is funded by and CFLC staff are trained via Riverside University Health System-Behavioral Health.
A Family Meal
During the first hour, families get to spend time over a free meal to foster quality time together.
Trainings
The next hour, parents and children meet in separate separate groups to build skills and practice new behaviors. Afterwards, groups come back together for family bonding activities.
All Free
We have you covered on child care, the meal, family resources, gifts/prizes, and transportation (if applicable).
